Welcome to SportsPlace in Fanwood, NJ!

SportsPlace is a unique shopping and birthday party experience! In our completely renovated space there is a game room featuring skeeball, basketball, air hockey and much more! Our party room hosts children's birthday parties and groups for any occasion. The retail area offers an extensive collection of all sport themed gifts, trading cards, novelties and autographed items for sports fans of all ages. Please stop in, sample the games and check out all of the great items featuring all your favorite teams! You can also sign up for e-mails from us to learn more about our party packages, sports celebrity appearances, new merchandise and more.

New Summer Activities! Eco-Craft Wednesdays, starting June 17th and Summer Camp Days , still running through September 3rd. Also just added is our Summer Social Group for 4-6 year olds on Wednesdays, from July 1 through July 22nd.

Merchandise

SportsPlace has something for sports fans of every age!

We carry trading cards of all kinds including all sports, Pokemon and even High School Musical and Hannah Montana! Our retail area is full of pennants, magnets, signs, jewelry, mugs, banks, games, plaques, towels, decals, keycahins and much, much more! We carry all licensed, team items! We can accommodate ALL fans! If you don’t see a certain team that you are looking for….any team can be ordered for you!

We also have an extensive line of signed memorabilia. All of our signed photos come with certificates of authenticity.

We can also create a “custom” gift pack or basket for any occasion. We will work with you to find the perfect gift for your sports fan!

Party Packages

Birthday Parties

Your party will have exclusive use of our party room and game room featuring skeeball, air hockey, foosball and much more! Everything is handled by our staff from set up to clean up. Parties at SportsPlace can be tailored to fit any age for boys or girls.

Add ons are available for all packages:
  • Pizza
  • Personalized goody bags
  • Paint a ceramic baseball bank
  • Pom Poms
  • Balloons

Prices vary for add ons, depending on specifics.
The “ALL STAR” package includes:
  • 90 minute party with hosts
  • SportsPlace invitations
  • Choice of (1) sport-themed craft (make your own pennant or bead a sports key clip)
  • An organized TEAM basketball competition
  • Paper products and (1) juice box per child
  • Play time in our game room
$185.00 for up to 12 children*
$14.00 for each add’l child*
 
The "CHEERLEADER" package includes:
  • 90 minute party with hosts
  • SportsPlace invitations
  • Decorate a megaphone craft
  • Cheering lesson with a cheerleader – which incorporates the birthday child’s name)
  • Paper products and (1) juice box per child
  • Play time in game room
  • Children will have the option to “perform” the cheer for parents at pick up.
$195.00 for up to 12 children*
$14.00 for each add’l child*

*Prices are subject to change w/o notice. Price does not include 7% NJ sales tax.

Parties are offered any day at any time, based on availability. A $50.00 non-refundable deposit required upon reservation. Final payment is due the day of your party. Call us at (908) 889-8200 to arrange the details of your party.

Game Room

 

OPEN PLAY HOURS

SportsPlace is available to stop in for Open Play. You can use our party room and game room for up to 2 hours for just $5.00 a child.  A make-it-yourself craft is also provided. Children must be accompanied by an Adult. Just call ahead to make sure there is not a scheduled party or event before you come in to play!

Sports Place also has custom packages available for playgroups, teams, brownies and cub scouts! We also host camps for Kindergarteners, school holiday camps and also “fun nites” where you can drop off your child for an organized fun filled time! Call us at (908) 889-8200 for more information. Celebrity Appearances

SportsPlace hosted its first meet and greet autograph signing with Barry Cofield #96 of the Superbowl Champions, NY Giants. This event which took place on July 17, 2008 was a great experience for all who attended. Click here for a picture gallery of Barry's visit to SportsPlace.
